Anorexia Tips

The perfect body and overweight become an obsession for many people. Thus cases of anorexia among adults aged 40 to 50 years are growing. Although the disease usually begins in adolescence, the growing number of adults with this disease is a reality.

The search of the perfect body acceptance and eternal youth of anorexia leads to disease that is growing at an alarming rate, in girls under 12 and adults 40 to 50 years.

The current ideal of beauty, the hype and the relationship between success and thinness included many women and also in some men who want to be pathologically thin. This is subject to restrictive diets and unhealthy, especially during the summer.

The first step in correcting this condition is an awareness that involves eating very little. For this, the central axis of the treatment is to support the family. Unfortunately, anorexia can become a chronic and irreversible if not treated in time. But thanks to various therapies available, about 47% of the population with this disease recover completely, while about 20% of people suffer from chronic anorexia, and death rate is 6%.

One way to address this issue and reduce the number of cases is through prevention. Therefore, it is important to conduct educational campaigns, especially in school-age children, to encourage good eating habits and its relationship to health .
